Royal Flush: The king of poker games is the royal flush. It is the most difficult one to get. If you have a royal flush hand you can beat any other combination of cards. It is actually consecutive cards of the same suit from 10 through Ace.
Straight Flush: The instruction book says s small straight of the same suit is the straight flush. Like four, five, six, seven and eight of diamond. The cards which are less than 10 and consecutive are straight flush.
Four of a Kind: The instruction manual would tell you that same number or same face card is known as four of a kind. This hand can beat all the previous hands.
Full House: According to different instruction sets a full house will have a combination of three cards of the same kind and two cards of a different kind. For example three tens and two Aces. In this case also the higher combination wins. If a person has 3 tens and 2 fours, but another person has 3 Aces and 2 sixes, then the second person will win.
Flush: A flush means a combination of any five cards of the same suit. For example, five spades, five hearts, etc. This hand has the capacity to beat all other previous hands.
Straight: When you have numbers in a consecutive order you have a straight hand. The larger straight hand you have the more chance is that you will beat a small straight.
3 Of A Kind: If you have three cards of the same number or same face then you have a three of a kind. The remaining cards will not make a victory hand when they are combined.
